These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of familyfilmawards.com (the “Site”), the official website of the Family Film and TV Awards (the “Awards”), produced by Associated Television International (“ATI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of the Site

The Site is provided for your personal, non-commercial use, to give information about the Awards. You agree not to:

Intellectual Property

The Site and its contents — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, video, audio, and layout — are owned by or licensed to ATI and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. “Family Film and TV Awards” and associated names, logos, statuettes, and designs are trademarks and service marks of their respective owners.

You may view and print Site content for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use — including reproduction, modification, distribution, republication, public display, or commercial exploitation — requires our prior written permission.

Photographs in our galleries and press materials may be owned and licensed by third-party picture agencies and their photographers. Rights to those images are not granted by these Terms, and permission to reuse them must be obtained from the rights holder identified in the credit.

Use of the Awards Name and Marks

Nominees, winners, honourees, and their representatives may refer accurately to a nomination or award received. Any use of the Awards name, logos, statuette imagery, or laurels in advertising, packaging, key art, or other promotional material requires our prior written permission and must comply with any usage guidelines we provide. You may not use the Awards name or marks in a way that suggests an endorsement, affiliation, nomination, or award that has not in fact been given.

Entries, Nominations, and Judging

Information on the Site about submitting a work for consideration is provided for general guidance only. It is not an offer, and it does not create any entitlement to be considered, nominated, or honoured. All submissions are subject to any published entry rules, deadlines, eligibility requirements, and fees, and to any separate agreement we require.

Selection of nominees, winners, and honourees is made at the sole discretion of the Awards and its judging body. Decisions are final and are not subject to appeal or review. We may decline, withdraw, reclassify, or disqualify any entry at any time, including where eligibility or credit information proves inaccurate. Submission fees, where charged, are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise.

Submissions

We do not accept unsolicited creative materials, concepts, or proposals outside a formal entry process. If you send us material through the Site or otherwise — including comments, suggestions, photographs, or video — you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display it in connection with the Awards and our business, and you confirm that you have the right to grant that licence. We treat such material as non-confidential.

If you submit a work or materials for Awards consideration, you confirm that you have all rights and clearances necessary to do so, and you grant us the right to use the title, credits, images, and excerpts supplied for the purposes of judging, announcement, publication, promotion, and broadcast of the Awards.

The Ceremony

Details of the Awards ceremony — including dates, times, venue, format, presenters, performers, honourees, ticketing, and broadcast or streaming arrangements — are subject to change, postponement, or cancellation without notice. Attendance is by invitation, credential, or ticket, and is subject to any terms, security requirements, and conduct rules issued with it. We may refuse or revoke admission.

The ceremony is photographed, filmed, and recorded. By attending, you consent to being recorded and to the use of your image, likeness, and voice in broadcasts, streams, recordings, photographs, galleries, and promotional and archival materials, in any medium now known or later developed, without further notice, compensation, or credit.

Accuracy of Content

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site accurate and current, but content may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date information, and may be changed or removed at any time without notice. Nominee and winner listings, credits, and archived material are published in good faith and may be corrected. Please also read our Disclaimer.

Third-Party Links and Embedded Content

The Site contains links to, and embedded content from, websites and services operated by others, including sponsors, partners, broadcasters, video platforms such as Vimeo, and social media networks. We do not control those services, we do not endorse them by linking to them, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that it is free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ATI and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content on it, or to any entry, judging, or awards decision, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or any other theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ATI and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or connected with your use of the Site, any material you submit, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or the Awards will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and we will update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
