The Family Film and TV Awards (the “Awards”) are produced by Associated Television International (“ATI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit familyfilmawards.com (the “Site”).

We collect information only when you choose to give it to us — for example if you write to us using the contact details published on the Site, submit an entry or nomination for Awards consideration, enquire about attending or sponsoring the Awards, or contact us as a member of the press.

Please send us only the information needed for your enquiry. Do not send us sensitive personal information, payment card details, or government identification numbers through the Site.

Entries, Nominations, and Public Announcement
Information submitted for Awards consideration — including the title of a work, the names of the people credited on it, and accompanying materials — is submitted for the purpose of being judged and, where selected, publicly announced. Nominee, winner, and honouree names and associated credits are published on the Site, in press materials, and in coverage of the ceremony. Please do not submit information for consideration that you do not wish to be made public.
The Awards Ceremony, Photography, and Broadcast
The Awards ceremony is photographed, filmed, and recorded, including by third-party photographers and picture agencies. If you attend, you may be recorded, and your image, likeness, and voice may appear in photographs, galleries, broadcasts, streams, press coverage, and promotional and archival materials relating to the Awards. Attendance constitutes your consent to that use without further notice, compensation, or credit, subject to any separate terms or credentials issued for the event.
Photographs published in our galleries may be owned and licensed by third-party agencies and their photographers, and are credited where required.
Third-Party Sites
The Site links to websites and services we do not operate, including those of sponsors, partners, broadcasters, and social media platforms. When you follow such a link, the operator of that service handles your information under its own privacy policy, not this one. Please review those policies before providing information.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy — including responding to your enquiry and administering entries and attendance across an Awards season — and then for as long as necessary to comply with our legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Records of nominees, winners, and honourees are retained as a permanent historical record of the Awards. Server and security logs are retained for shorter, routine periods.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy
The Awards honour family programming, and young performers are among those recognised. The Site itself is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. Entries and submissions concerning a person under 18 should be made by a parent, guardian, or authorised representative. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
International Visitors
The Site is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
